Great Ocean Road and Inland Routes Renewal Program

Work Package 1 (Renewal)

February 2024 to May 2025

Whelans Group has been awarded the contract by Major Road Projects Victoria to resurface and rebuild sections of the Great Ocean Road and its inland routes at Winchelsea, Princetown, Peterborough, Nullawarre, Allansford and Barramunga. These works involve clearing, excavation, pavement construction, drainage, asphalting, road barrier installation and linemarking.

Work Package 2 (Safety)

July 2024 to May 2025

Whelans Group is delivering safety upgrades at eight locations along the Great Ocean Road between Fairhaven and Jan Juc, as well as completing intersection upgrades along the Great Ocean Road at Mepunga, Nullawarre and Nirranda.
